Character Biography

Francesca Delorossa was born in Naples in 1982. After that, her family moved to Palermo where she spent most of her childhood years. Her father, the head of the Delorossa family for as long as she can remember was far more supportive then her absent mother ever was. The family was never exactly whole, but as this is frowned upon in the Cosa Nostra Community, the matter remained secret. However Francesca often felt animosity toward her mother.

When she was 12 the Delorossa family moved to St. Louis Missouri where Francesca spent her teenage years and now the beginning of her adult life. When Francesca was 16 she moved up in the family and became a strong member of the community when her father was arrested for money laundering, and later tried for conspiracy to murder over 17 people in the midwest alone. Francesca's mother took her fathers place as the head of the family, which didn't last too long.

Though young, Francesca was elevated to "soldier" of her family at age 22 after a mysterious sickness fell upon her estranged mother. With her mother bedridden, but still in charge, Francesca began to take over every role she possibly could in her Delorossa family and community. However, with the underground crime community shifting more into financial crime and moving away from murders and violence, Francesca became desperate to find a strong financial foundation to stand on.

Her prayers were answered in late 2007 when she met Vincenzo Maranzano, the long time head of his Maranzano Family. Don Vincenzo offered financial stability, and plenty of power over yet another family. The only thing that stood in her way was his wife, and Francesca's new friend Theresa.

As the friendship between Theresa and Francesca grew, so did Francesca's feelings for the Don, until the combination of her power hungry personality, and her devotion to the relationship she wanted to form with him out-weighed her desire to be friends with Theresa any longer. On November 12th 2007, Theresa went missing after a night out with Francesca. Francesca maintains her innocence, and suggests that Theresa's disappearance is due to the fact that she split ways with Francesca and went to a night club to get a drink before returning home. Night club attendance is strongly forbidden by the Cosa Nostra Ten Commandments, and someone in the community might have seen her, and resented her "lack of devotion to her heritage."

After the disappearance of Theresa, Francesca managed to convince The Don that marrying her would be the best idea for their community. Now a soon to be blushing bride, Francesca is happier than ever and about to gain a ton more power then she could ever imagine.
